...this thread was half way down page 3. Amazing he escapes the fume. I blame him more than Allardyce.

This fella brought the players in. This fella oversaw the construction of the squad. This fella is responsible for us not having a playing strategy. This fella is responsible for buying players who don’t compliment each other. This fella is responsible for the lack of athleticism, pace, power in the squad. This fella is responsible for expensive players on expensive contracts who get no game time.

This fella is responsible.
fella??

And five one paced number 10s, no striker or left back come to mind...
This is where I think koeman got himself sacked on purpose knowing the Holland job was lined up.

Essentially he was given this ambition of breaking the top 4 and all the rest of it. Then in his first summer the striker that was delivered was a west ham reject and the club broke even. Ok, we spent some money on January and delivered a United player . But then come the following summer the club sold a 25 goal striker and replaced him with....noone. as you say signed all these players who play in the one position so it was impossible to make a team out of them and then no left back.

So when the window shut, we failed to deliver the two positions koeman publically asked for and told him to go out and do his job of getting top 4.

That's why I think what happened happened basically. He played the formation he wanted with the tools (and lack of) provided by the club and when it wasn't working he was insinuating a well sack me attitude. As soon as he heard the Dutch job was going to be offered he knew to get out of this cesspool of a job. Cesspool meaning not the club itself bit the ones running and horribly managing it to what concerned him

“Known admirer” of allardyce too mate

Sharp and Stuart were sitting right behind him yesterday and I was thinking what I wouldn't give for one of them to give him a slap and ask him exactly what he was thinking when purchasing some of the absolute dross he's overseen.

It's comical he's still employed at this club. Though when you see Moshiri at full time chuckling away to himself over something on his mobile phone you realise why he's still in a job.
