It's a remarkable run of luck for Kante, Mahrez and Vardy to all be scouted personally by Walsh and for them all to turn into some of the most exciting talents in the league.

Were Zola, Essien and Didier Drogba flukes as well?

Pretty widely reported that he played a hand in Zola in his earlier Chelsea days and was asked by Mourinho to become full time scout, he was then instrumental in signing Essien and Drogba.

Take newspaper reports with a pinch of salt, but clearly given the calibre of players he's typically associated with, he has a very strong record.
