As i have said before he got lucky at Leicester with Kante and Mahrez. Hope I'm wrong but I can't see him and Koeman working. The striker that he wanted to sign from Standard Leige was a sore point between the two of them

Yes, i heard they were about to have a duel after that...luckily.Moshiri stepped in and they settled on a fencing match.

However Koeman couldnt get the mask on so it was called off.

BFF's again now.

I dont think you can have a director of football with a strong willed manager!! Your telling me Alex Ferguson Jose Mourinho or Arsene Wenger would listen!!!

I think if his work's not bringing the results it should then Koeman and Moshiri will be singing from the same hymn sheet and find a replacement.

Koeman did seem very happy not to have that side of the job in his remit so I do think he's OK with a dof alongside him.

The likes of Ferguson and Wenger are the last of a dying breed of manager mate. In the modern game, you need specialists in different fields to be successful, the manager can't do it all alone.

It's a partnership - with Ronald Koeman - and anyone who isn't pleased with these players

Morgan Schneiderlin, Ademola Lookman, DCL, Idrissa Gana Gueye, Yannick Bolasie, Ashley Williams and The Stek (plus Enner Valencia - loan)

No serious duds there (relative to the fees paid) - and plenty of good news.

replacing:

Stones, Oviedo, Gibson and the non-retention of Osman, Pienaar and Hibbert (all bar Stones not up to much).. plus dead weight McGeady gone on loan..

and the introduction of Holgate and Davies into the starting XI. All for £12M - must be dead hard to please.

Get rid. Waste of wages. Gana and Lookman are not finds. Gana was 2nd to only Kante so anyone who can google stats could have picked him up and it took a manager of Robinson standard an hour to see Lookman was the stand out player for his team. Walsh role is made up job for the boy's type role in modern football.

Pretty widely reported that he played a hand in Zola in his earlier Chelsea days and was asked by Mourinho to become full time scout, he was then instrumental in signing Essien and Drogba.

Take newspaper reports with a pinch of salt, but clearly given the calibre of players he's typically associated with, he has a very strong record.

Don't bother. Nothing can overcome the power of alternative facts.

Doing a good job, lets be honest we dont know exactly what he has done, for all we know he could of picked of several players but Koeman didnt fnacy them or we couldnt get them.
