You've heard it from me about Jelavic.

Look, he's made a decent start for Everton, but that's about it. He had a ropey Euros for Croatia getting subbed and left out, and was put in the shade by his strike partner. The feller has an awful lot of proving still to do.

The low bar set by Evertonians for our players prioving themselves is shocking, tbh. 4/5 goals and the feller's deemed a huge and unquestioned success. Well pardon me for waiting to see what unfiolds. As I say, decent start that partly keeps critics quiet. Let's see what comes next.

Dave mate, he scored 11 goals in 16 games.

Lets not pretend he flopped, come on.

I'm afraid to say you are a complete idiot.

Green is just as much the opportunist, if not more. People look out for themselves, not sure what the big deal is.

If you cant see what the big deal is mate then football defo is finished.

Green is a cowboy, no question. Two wrongs dont make a right though do they?

For the umpteenth time: if these were Everton players they'd be seen as the money-grubbing refuseniks they are. The fact Everton are trying to take advantage of that makes no difference to my estimation of what's going on.

No, he hasn't flopped. He's not Dixie dean either.

People need to calm their heels over just how 'successful' the feller is. He's come in and done a job. End of story really. Let's see what he delivers this season.

Larsson didn't exactly tear up the EPL though did he mate? And Fletcher? Decent, but his team got relegated didn't they?

He would have if he left Celtic, scored twice in the UEFA cup, scored against Liverpool, Blackburn and a lot of goals in the Champions League.

On Fletcher, if you have a defence of Berra, Ward, Elokobi, loan out Kightly, Doyle went off the boil and sack your manager then there's nothing more he could do.

Ehh, football isn't some noble institution where everyone is super loyal and unicorns prance through the streets. Maybe you want it to be, but it's not, it's just like the rest of the world.

If these players become available, and the club thinks they can help (a big "if" in this case), they should be pursued. End of story.

Close, dave, close.

It's more like double that and then add some more but good effort.

Davek, he's clearly exceeded expectation, however you look at it. We have a focal point in our team again and if Moyes wants to build around that for a nominal fee, is that a problem?

Dont mean to patronising, but i like Davek when hes on the warpath...

By the way, I've always wondered, is it Dave-ek or just Dave-kay
