Your pertinent point was that his attempt to walk away is opportunistic. I agree. I dont really see what point I made that isn't pertinent, tbh.
You said he was a rat for not waiting another two weeks, right? I just don't think, ultimately, it makes any difference. His moves make it clear, statement or not, that he wants to leave regardless of what division Rangers will be playing in. His options were to reject the legality of his contract being transferred and attempt to walk away for nothing, or accept the transfer of contract on the condition a release fee was negotiated. He's chosen the former, so your ire just seemed a little misplaced. I don't care all that much, though, and I'm more in agreement than not.
