His moves make it clear, statement or not, that he wants to leave regardless of what division Rangers will be playing in. His options were to reject the legality of his contract being transferred and attempt to walk away for nothing, or accept the transfer of contract on the condition a release fee was negotiated. He's chosen the former, so your ire just seemed a little misplaced. I don't care all that much, though, and I'm more in agreement than not.

I'm not excited in the slightest by either of them signing. Neither is good enough to move Everton on to the next level.

Personally, i hope Green rips the pair of these pirates and their agents and lawyers a new arse...and if Everton get invlved with it they deserve all that comes their way. It's a proper scab move by Everton.

Look, he's made a decent start for Everton, but that's about it. He had a ropey Euros for Croatia getting subbed and left out, and was put in the shade by his strike partner. The feller has an awful lot of proving still to do.

The low bar set by Evertonians for our players prioving themselves is shocking, tbh. 4/5 goals and the feller's deemed a huge and unquestioned success. Well pardon me for waiting to see what unfiolds. As I say, decent start that partly keeps critics quiet. Let's see what comes next.
