I'm at work and our stupid IT department have blocked you tube so I cant see what you posted :(
He's a solid finisher, got some pace and has a decent header. He was one of the more exciting youth prospects when exploded onto the scene at Kilmarnock. He's never been prolific but he's a decent player, probably the next best at Rangers after Jelavic when he was there. The injuries are a bit of a concern though as he might have lost a bit of pace since his last one. Would be a decent option.

Where's this statement? Not calling you a liar, but his official statement made no reference to the division he'd be playing in: http://www.scotzine.com/2012/06/in-...whittaker-statements-after-rangers-departure/

Well, unless Associate Press got it wrong then he said it: "Naismith said uncertainty over which division Rangers will play in next season was a key factor in his decision."

Green's case is based around the notion that he has purported to inform the players that he is transferring their contracts. However, it seems that the necessary informing and consultation of the players if you read the statements by Whittaker and Naismith. All of the legal advice I have seen apart from Green's statements would suggest this to be the case, including SFA's. There are more issues that I cannot be bothered to delve into which complicate the matter but this is the crucial part. (see this for an simple discussion of the issues http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18569993)

Furthermore, the players have to effectively decide by Thursday if they wish not to have their contract transferred. This is because that will be when the players have been ordered back for training and when their first pay cheque will be issued - implied intention to have their contract transferred is then assumed.

That link you provided is just more of the same of he says one thing, the other party says another. Legal advice conflicts on this and we'll see which side the game's authorities come down on...and Green has also shown he likes to take civil action, so this could conceivably drag on. My guess is that any club looking to grab any players will need to settle in some way shape or form...or they might just gamble on Green walking away and another consortium quickly coming in who will make a clean break.

Here is the press conference where he says it http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18560798

"From a football point of view, I think it's best to continue my career elsewhere. I'm 28 and I want to play at the top level for as much as I can. It doesn't look like Rangers will be in the SPL and there's no European football."

Yes, he wants to leave because he doesn't know what divsion they'll be in. As I said above: maybe he should wait and find out then?
