Nothing should be in before Pienaar is secured. That has to be the priority. Deal with squad fillers later on.

disagree mate. We can't wait if we have a chance to lock these two possible deals, imo.
I'm afraid spurs are gonna make this Pienaar case very hard for us. We need new blood.

if we could get Naismith, Pranjic, and Donovan that would be a great transfer summer along with keeping Baines
and they rest of the squad don't forget we are after letting about 6 players go so the squad is small.

Disagree with this, I think a striker is more of a priority than Pienaar at the moment.

If Jelavic gets injured then our only forwards are Vellios and Anichebe, and I never want to see Cahill or Fellaini starting as a lone striker again.

He's not a striker. He plays as the advanced midfielder.

Pienaar is tried and tested as PL class - superior PL class at that. This club has finite resources. It makes sense to get in your primary targets and then deal with stuff like this later. If he isn't available then, that's just his hard luck.

I agree with Dave here, Pienaar is defo number 1.

Then maybe we can pick up some utter gash Scottish people with dodgy knees.

Major typo in the thread title. His name is Naysmith.
