It's 2012, not 1991.

Jagielka, Anichebe and Arteta came back from such surgeries.

Yeah, he's had two. Not on the same knee though.

Posted earlier mate that's what I've been told as well

They have to reject it because rangers won't agree so the SFA can't approve it. In relation to tupe employment law wise it's fairly cut and dried they are within their rights to leave although the player registration confuses matters. I know stoke have taken legal advice and been told that the worst case scenario is believed , from that advice, to be similar to the Webster ruling namely fairly small compo and like I say that's believed to be the worst case. The big issue will be in relation to restraint of trade (meaning they may well get temp registration transfer) but it's believed the governing bodies will not refuse the registration issue given the 75% voluntary wage cut and the chaos that is rangers who may not even have a league to play in.

I don't know about everton but I can assume they've been given similar advice , I'm confident it'll be ok if that's of any use to anyone

Employment law is on the players' sides. It's watertight.

Rangers are just trying their luck, because they're losing up to £10m worth of talent for nothing.

He's a good player, hope he shakes off the injuries. IMO we shouldn't see him starting often until October or so, as he's had bad ones in the past.

I really do want him to do well here, C'MON STEVE FFS

If you were FIFA you wouldn't want to step on client associations toes too much if it could be avoided. Suspect you're right and that some fee will change hands in the future...which would be ironic really because a release clause not asking too much would have been asked by this newco by all accounts. Same outcome, but a different way of operating.
