Haha its funny because its true *cries*.

As for me thoughts, i've never seen him play and would normally be sceptacle of players signed from Scotland, its a level under the Prem. Doesn't mean that players from there won;t be good though of course.

We got what looks so far (but is still early days) a good player in Jelavic and from whats been said about Naismith overall it looks like a decent deal for us.

Just hope he recaptures the form that made him so rated before his second injury. Thats a big worry for me but only time will tell.

As for what Daveks been saying about him : i reckon that Davek thinks he's ****e but after getting his pants pulled down over Jelavic when he said the same thing knows he can't go down that road again so is taking an alternative angle of which to **** off a player from Scotland :D

I take the long road on this mate. Happy to say I was completely wrong if he keeps his form this season.

I personally couldn't give a crap what Naismith did or didn't do in regards to playing for the new rangers, whether he was in the right or in thr wrong to do what he's done. He ain't Hitler so as long as he gives it his all here and plays well it really doesn't matter if he told some lies or wanted more money. And i feel the same about players who have "****" on us, its what they do on the pitch that counts. They are footballers not perfect human beings.

That's fair enough. The quid pro quo however is that there can be no bitching in the future about Barmby or any of the other Judas' people get worked up about...not for the one's taking the 'so what' attitude toward Kneesmith's arrival anyway.

There's a lot of hurtin' Bears on there! Some of the insults are superb, to be fair. "Judas bawbag". Lol!

fcuk them do you think they care if it was us who were going down to league 1 would they fcuk
if we could go back and get Lee Wallace when we are at it cover for Baines

My history teacher told me today hes better than Jelavic, Rangers fan. Slightly off topic but a few weeks ago we were doing presentations in class, i printed mine off but put a full size picture of Jelavic celebrating halfway through, he nearly started crying.

Thing is though Dave, and i think Rufus alluded to it earlier in the thread, is that in pretty much all walks of life but especially football, double standards are always applied by fans to players regarding what side of the argument they are on.

If Naismith ****s on Everton in 3 years time by saying he wants to go to the rs you can guarantee there will be the same people not bothered about him coming here under these circumstances who then hate the guy for his actions calling him a judas and what not.

Just look at Donavon and Pienaar. Both (in my eyes) have been hugely disrespectful to the current employers regarding comments made by them about them and Everton. Yet people love it because its shows that they "get it" and are "true blues" and all that.

Yet Johnny Heitinga makes a perfectly acceptable comment about how he wouldn't say no to playing for Barcalona (or whatever he actually said) people jump all over him calling him a snidey rat and a judas etc.

Sure its hypocrisy and double standards. But thats the nature of football fans all over.

The boy is a good player as good as jelavic but gets bad injuries rangers looked after him for 2 years while he couldn't play and he repays them by only thinking of himself the boy only thinks of money no loyalty like big dunc would show but then none play for the jersey there all the same

...I know it is. It's ironic then that I'm the one who's supposed to be unreasonable.

The stuff about Naismith getting 'bad injuries'.... he's had two, both knee injuries that required surgery.

The first one was because a St Johnstone player 'did him' during a Scottish Cup semi in April 2008.
The second one was Naismith's own fault, he did a tackle on an Aberdeen player in October 2011 and came off the worst.

Two bad injuries that required lengthy rehab, but other than that, there's not much else on his 'injury record'. It's not like he's a James Vaughan, getting repeatedly injured. He's been unlucky once, possibly twice depending on how you look at it.

He's had two career threatening injuries but apart from that he's ok?
