We could probably get Charlie Austin for way less than 8 million since his contract is up in the summer?

Then use the rest of the Naismith money plus the Mirallas money to get Yarmolenko.

He's done a cracking job Naismith for us and scored some important goals but 8m for a 29 year old who isn't getting a sniff is too good to turn down. Will always get a good reception as well if he does leave.

He deserves respect. Has played wherever he has been asked and did well 90% of the time. Sadly the Kone has kept him out the side and with that the marginal balance we had.

He's been a weird one really: probably the worst Everton player in decades when he first arrived, then he found a bit of good form and justified his fee.

I wont be sorry to see him gone though.

Steven Naismith: Everton forward to join Norwich City in £8m deal
Everton forward Steven Naismith is set to join Premier League rivals Norwich in an £8m deal next month.

The 29-year-old Scotland international has started only four league matches this season, but scored a hat-trick after coming on as a substitute against Chelsea in September.

He played 25 minutes as a substitute in the 4-3 defeat by Stoke on Monday.

In August Everton rejected a £7m bid from Norwich for Naismith, whojoined the Toffees from Rangers in 2012.

He has made 103 Premier League appearances for Everton, scoring 18 goals.

Newly-promoted Norwich are three points clear of the relegation zone, with Everton six points ahead of the Canaries in 11th.

Is anyone getting a horrible bit of a creeping feeling that there was a whiff of sentiment about yesterday's sub? Very unlikely though.
