Kone is a stain on the footballing excellence known as Everton Football Clab.

The sooner he leaves and gives that number 9 to an actual football player cant come soon enough.
First few games of the season are the first few games he's played without a serious injury inhibiting him and a proper pre season with the team and he's been quietly excellent.

But you aren't seriously engaging, you just want to be panto because you might be wrong x

I gave the utter eyesore praise in the first few games.

I, yeah, this is gonna shock you, but I judge players on a series of games, if they have good games, I give them their props and they should be grateful I noticed their input.

First 2 games of the season he was lively, linking up play, running off the ball and looked a decent player, but when you look closer at what hes doing, its meaningless, hes basically just going for a jog around the pitch.

But yes, I am being a bit "panto", Naismith and Kone are vital and important players to have within the squad, I just dont ever want to see either of them start while we have better options.

He's basically going for a jog? Jesus Christ. There's a reason Rom is less occupied by defenders and there's a reason attacks are looking more fluid and aren't breaking down as often

Utter panto.

Kone's been good. He's got s touch of Pienaar about him in taking bad balls in tight spaces drawing defenders in then releasing a team mate like for Naismiths second. Worth his place at the moment.

I agree with you on Naismith but why does Kone deserve to be dropped? Seems he's just the easy target now that Naismith has done really well in a game. On Saturday, for me, the team should be the exact 11 on the pitch when Naismith came on against Chelsea with a very strong bench.

If Mirallas just waltzed back into the team now it gives off the impression to people like Naismith and Kone that it doesn't matter how they play, they'll just be shafted out of the team for a more favourable option. It takes away their incentive to work for their place thus removes the element of competition in the squad.

I don't care if Mirallas is a better player, which he is, Kone and Naismith should start against Swansea. Apart from in the Southampton game I think Kone's done more than Lukaku in the first 5 games.

I don't want Mirallas to start I want Lennon to start since Coleman will likely be out and Lennon provides good protection on the right, as well the fact he'll be a massive threat on the counter.

It's not that Kone is the easy target either, he's done very well and we're all surprised with him but I certainly wouldn't say he's made himself undroppable. He's still a squad player.

Agree on this, i think Kone has doe well, he also played a part on some of the link up play in the goal build up on Saturday. Also he has won a lot in the air when we have been defending corners.

The fume is being passed to Kone because Naismith scored as you say.

It really isn't. He's been good, he's came in and done his job very well. He's still a squad player who can drop to the bench when other options become available though. Lennon will be a starter when match fit, it's not unfeasible that Kone drops to the bench.
