Nobody is saying Naismith is suddenly this amazing footballer but he's primarily a goalscorer and when goalscorers find form you don't drop them, it's just stupid.

Naismith takes Kone's place against Swansea for me. Kone has been much improved but his best work on Saturday was in our own box defending corners, which is great but we don't need that against Swansea as much as we did against Chelsea.

I agree with you on Naismith but why does Kone deserve to be dropped? Seems he's just the easy target now that Naismith has done really well in a game. On Saturday, for me, the team should be the exact 11 on the pitch when Naismith came on against Chelsea with a very strong bench.

If Mirallas just waltzed back into the team now it gives off the impression to people like Naismith and Kone that it doesn't matter how they play, they'll just be shafted out of the team for a more favourable option. It takes away their incentive to work for their place thus removes the element of competition in the squad.

I don't care if Mirallas is a better player, which he is, Kone and Naismith should start against Swansea. Apart from in the Southampton game I think Kone's done more than Lukaku in the first 5 games.

Drop Kone and gamble on losing some of Lukaku's ability to get goals. Kone has done absolutely nothing to get dropped to the bench.

It's the emotive decision to play a player who just got a hattrick. It's not the right decision though.

Roberto will have a plan for Swansea, he'll share it with the players and coaches and they'll train it for a week.
Maybe Naismith starts, maybe he doesn't.
Whatever it will be more informed than this fluff getting passed around for pages.
There are reasons none of you are premier league managers, show some humility.

Agree on this, i think Kone has doe well, he also played a part on some of the link up play in the goal build up on Saturday. Also he has won a lot in the air when we have been defending corners.

The fume is being passed to Kone because Naismith scored as you say.

Lets keep playing bang average players like Kone and Naismith and leave the world class players like Mirallas and Gezza on the bench lads.

Your definition of world class is a little odd if you think Kev and Del are already there. They're more talented than Kone or Naisy, but both of them have taken their opportunities and deserve their places if they start.

Bit of a dumb logic that though. None of us are PL managers so none of us should pressume to think the manager wrong?

True, we're all just sharing our non expert opinions. It's just the language peeps were using was presenting their piffle as cast-iron facts.
Stuff like 'you don't drop a player who scored a hattrick' or 'it would be the emotive decision, not the right one'.
Guess it's clumsy to start every post "imho" though.
