We need to sell him. We can't afford to go around talking about how ambitious we are as a club with footballers like him around. Its a pity we didn't let him go to Norwich in the summer, that's exactly his level. Its really no slight on him, he just doesn't have the talent for a club of our stature.

If Naismith is gonna start then play him in.his correct position if not bench him.. He can't play left midfield we seen that under moyes aswell
There is zero creativity down the left hand side we look totally unbalanced Surely its worth playing mirallas or geri out there

Did you say that after the Chelsea game?

I agree he shouldn't be starting every game, but unfortunately due to injuries/suspensions we've been limited down that side. With Cleverley hopefully back fit soon, he'll likely be back to being on the bench.

He was utterly dreadful today.

Every touch was to a red shirt. Every attack ended when it got to his feet.

9/10 games he leaves me wanting to tear my hair out.

1/10 games he does something useful ala Chelsea.

Not good enough. I still think we should have sold him.

made me so angry today. One of the worst halves from an Everton player I've seen in quite a while.

That's not exactly much better...anyone but the creative wingers wide left eh.

Consistency, or lack of, is the main problem with him. If he was able to play as well as Chelsea for more than 3 games in 30 - he'd be a beast. Sadly, he's useless in those 27 games, with a tap-in or a shot coming off him in some to score a goal and salvage a, usually, crap performance.

But two wingers unfortunately, just does not work against most teams. RM plays a certain system which requires balance, and Cleverley gives that.

Without Baines in the side we need something else. What's the point in having a central player drifting in from the left when you've got a CB overlapping?

Not to mention playing with two defensive mids. It puts far too much pressure on Ross to create something.
