Steven Naismith

definitely a better option than osman, so it seems as though he's all but gone. we'll surely be bringing in someone if that is the case given pienaar's injury record and mcgeady never getting a look in and only having two strikers.

Osman is better than him, he can pass the ball to a player in the same shirt for a start.

i have naismith down as more of a match winner than osman.

Fact of the matter is Naismith has Kev/Kone ahead of him on left forward role; Geri/Aaron on the right and Martinez wont use him as a forward.

I think the cashing in is partly as a 'thank you' to Naismith but also possibly leverage for a replacement.

hope what you said in the transfer thread happens.

If he goes it has to be a replacement in. Roberto said a few days ago he was only retained in the summer because the deal with Norwich was so last minute and left no time for a replacement.

I'll be surprised if he isn't out the door in January, and jis replacement must already be lined up.

i agreed with the decision, it was way too late. if we can sell him for just shy of what they offered back then, that'd be brilliant business.
