I f*cking hate Stoke.

For a team full of big lads they roll around like a bunch of pussies, screaming for penalties that not even Howard Webb would give at Old Trafford. I've tried to understand their game, I.E. a **** team playing **** football just trying to do what they can to stay in the division, but I hate them.

Shawcross is a [Poor language removed], Huth is a [Poor language removed], Jones is a [Poor language removed], and Pulis is the biggest tit of the lot.

Barkley definitely should have been brought on in the second half...Mcfadden is a type of player to need time to affect the game - not come on for 5 minutes and make a difference.

One worrying thing about tonight though, is that now our battle isnt just with Liverpool, Fulham are 3 points behind too. Our fixtures look the best, but its Everton - we have a nack of not performing when we should

I thought we were good for the three points for most of that match, but it all got a bit rickety towards the end, and we lacked a cutting edge upfront for most of the game. There weren't enough shots going in, often just one pass too many. We really should have finished them off before they equalised. On the bright side though, we are playing a much better passing game lately and it really is a joy to watch, and it begs the problem of how we played so badly against RS with all that Hoof football. Talking about RS, their dreadful result against Fulham edges us nearer to 7th spot with a superior goal difference. My MOTM: Stephen Pienaar. Drenthe is history now, but we've really got to keep hold of Pienaar for next season.

Oh and for the record I don't see why or how people can moan at Stoke.

They play within the rules, as far as I can see. Sure it's boring football but if it's effective then hey, I can't blame them.

I actually admire them -- or at least their fans -- to be honest. We played like that for the first 2/3 of this season and I nearly topped myself. Having to endure it year in, year out... fair play.

Can any one tell me why no-one has even discussed the possibility of having football played like rugby. i.e. stope the clock when a ball goes out of play or for injuries? I've seen a lot worse from stoke than i did today, and we were quite culpurable for it aswell, the amount of time taken on throw ins took about 10 mins out of the 90. I honestly don't see how it would be bad idea, the main positive would be that it would stop managers moaning about the amount of additional time which is questioned a lot

Beat Wolves and we've got 7th pretty much tied up, and if we don't beat that shower now that they know they're relegated then we don't deserve 7th place anyway.

It adds to the 'theatre' of the game, same reason why video technology hasn't been brought in at the top levels.

it gets worse when they get good financial backing and splunge it all on taller players. I really feel for etherington, i mean he must ****ing hate training sessions, i bet he sits down for most of it while the rest of the squad practice they're throw in routines. The only time he gets to join in is when they practice corners

They dive and timewaste too much for me to admire them.
