Just watched the 5 minute highlights and really noticed how much Seamus was up supporting attacks from corners but also from open play he was right up with the attackers too. He showed a bit of that against Swansea but missed his chances so hopefully we will see a return of the goal scoring Seamus of the season before last.

i had him as motm, although again there were plenty to choose from

Fair play to Stoke, at least they do something for the away fans. I've gone by train for the last few years and they lay on shuttle buses to the ground from near the station and drop off at the station after the match. Police escort as well, so not held up in traffic. Don't know any other clubs that do this. They also reserve the student union bar near where the buses to the ground leave from for away fans. Credit where it's due.

I liked the look of that Imbula yesterday.

He looks to me like a player in the Yaya mould.

He's decent going forward but we took him to the cleaners yesterday mate. He will really struggle to defend in this league.

As I said on Monday when people were freaking out for us 'not showing ambition cos Stoke have signed this player who's good on fifa', that Porto would not have sold their third-ever highest signing after 6 months had he been decent. They made a profit of about €3mil on him as well when you factor in the wages, so not exactly a huge amount.

Think there's definitely a player in there but he's going to have to get accustomed to this league very quickly...

Yeah. We ran rings around him and he struggled to get to grips with the defensive side of the game. Which I thought was his role? Hence why I think he didn't look all that...

But its his first game for them. So maybe settling in period needed
