Changed the entire fate of the match though. May have lost without him and been relegated! An act of God!
Maybe mate
I like to think the introduction of DCL gave us a focal point and made a huge difference
Credit Iwobi but DCL was a major influence IMO

Dad and lad.

Feel like there’s a certain irony in his degree. Bloody students.

Interesting fact ......... Roger Hallam - failed organic farmer - , founder of Extinction Rebellion, Insulate Britain, Tyred Out et al is also behind Stop Oil

He has been touring UK universities to drum up supporters to the Stop Oil cause with the intention to target refineries and petrol stations for the next month as well as a "mass protest" in London scheduled for April 9th

Expect more fuel disruption if he's managed to recruit enough sprogs

I’m genuinely not sure what he was hoping to achieve. I believe that group tried the same at arsenal at the weekend, but failed because it’s further to the goal from the stands. So they were carried away before they could attach themselves.
If we get another incident like this I could see clubs having to get more stewards to stop people.
I just hope we don’t see a return of fans being caged in

See my post above.

Hallam has been planning this for months. The guy (He/him/they/it?) is just a sock puppet

You can't argue with the effectiveness of the protest, too.

Us winning definitely helps me feel fairly magnanimous about the whole thing.

But if we'd lost, the Castrol GTX would've been gushing at my house.
He is being described as an Everton fan in some National paper, is he? He doesn’t seem to be the sort to be interested in football, makes no difference to me if he is, just out of interest is why I’m asking.

Agree, achieved nothing, and in fact if you go on their social media accounts they're about as vague as his t shirt, no thesis / narrative - to the fella posting saying the lad is very brave etc, no he really isn't he's just stupid.

I fear the same, even tho we scraped a win it feels like yet another bad press attached to us re this incident

Serious question: If he accidentally strangled himself to death because the cable tie was too tight and efforts to cut him loose failed, what are Premier League regulations?

Would they have just played on with his lifeless corpse still appended to the goalpost (but perhaps shimmied him around so he wasn’t on the field of play)?

Or, would they have had to abandon the game / hold up play indefinitely until an engineering crew could jimmy him free of the woodwork?

And please, show your workings.
Would of been a stone wall pen to the horse punchers if that scenario played out mate
