If he was any good we wouldn`t have ended up back there 10 years later and he allowed them to keep there air force flying after the surrender which allowed the Iraqis to slaughter the Kurds who we encouraged to uprise against Saddam and then abandoned them.He was also against the use of special forces to take out the scud missile sites but agreed to it and they played a big part in the war.
