Targeting is not signing so not much to get excited about just yet. Havent seen mucb of either tbh.

Digne is decent. I'd rather have Tierney, but 4-5 years ago Digne was one of the hottest prospects in Europe. He's played at Roma, PSG and Barca and is still only 24. If he's available for £10m, it's a steal.

Mina. Only saw him at the WC. Worried about a lack of pace if paired with Keane, but he'd come in and be our best defender. I'm sure PSV were linked with him before his Barca move, so I have no doubt Brands will have scouted him. But I can see the player wanting to stay at Barca (understandable, like).

I didn’t like Digne refusing to be backup for the French squad, we don’t need attitude like that. Seems like a guy who would kick off at the first sign of trouble. We really need unity in the squad, with the wage he would command we need more than another potential sulk.

True it's no guarantee we will sign anyone. However he seems to have the best sources and we are/were in for Tierney. So his intel is good if nothing else.
