Some of the best players that have ever played the game are predominantly one footed. To be a 'professional' you don't need to be both footed.

Of course. But by and large footballers are better when they can play off both feet with almost equal reliability.

When you played football yourself did you have the ability to do that - and if you didn't then didn't you wish you could?

I see what you mean, and yes I was both footed. However George Boyd played next to me and favoured one foot and he was still better, was rather frustrating ha.
