The thing is, if hes any good Barca will take him back, if there wasnt a buyback you would think the fee would be dearer, so its more of a gamble, but either way, if hes any good its not like hes gonna stay here either way.

He’ll have a certain value and playing regularly for us for a year will increase it to Barca so there is no risk at all for them unless he absolutely sinks here. They bought back Geri and gave him a run-out when it was clear he wasn’t good enough for them. But they still made a profit on him.

With Mina being a non-EU player his chances of succeeding there are at best slim, now and longer-term. They would insert a buy-back as an insurance policy, that’s all. He can be not good enough for them but perfectly good enough for us, and a deal can suit all parties.

If he improves us short term, long term, mid term, I dont care if we have him for 6months or 6 years, as long as he improves us, thats all that matters, to me anyway.

If we can get Digne (£18m), Mina (£15m) and Richarlison (£35m + add ons) without losing Lookman and getting rid of some more deadwood, I think that's great business.

It's huge money for Richarlison but I think if it was £30m we'd be happy with it.

It's expensive at £35m but considering the add ons would only be if he actually performs for us it's not too bad.

Im always confused when they talk about loans and "the player and loan-club have agreed terms".

...wtf is that about? He's got a contract for X per week, you pay him X per week? I just never got what that means unless it's as simple as "yeah, I'll go there".

Didn't Fabregas have a buy-back, and he was at Arsenal six or seven years.

Without looking it up I doubt there was. No way Barca don't bring him back once he made the arsenal team.

You normally pay a loan fee, you certainly don’t make a profit on them so it’s not really like a loan deal.
Real made a massive profit on morata mate.

Del actually will go for a profit , in fact they probably already profited from the deal as Watford would have paid loan fee and add ons take him to around 15 million also. Obviously in dels vase he wasn't very good in the end .

Good job the league doesn't really have many lightning fast strikers then really.

He's 23, massive, great in the air, and strong/aggressive, and not hopeless technically either, if he was the complete player elsewhere with those qualities then he'd be at Barca for life

He is a fantastic player for me mate. I watched him against England and he stood out a mile, dominated Harry Kane and dragged the team forward. Looks quick too. Sanchez was excellent too but Mina was the pick.I didn't think we'd get near him, but I did say straight after the game I'd be delighted if we got near him.
