Anyone know what the current status of James McCarthy is? fit, available for selection? surely he is an alternative option to schneiderlin or gang?

He was running again before summer. I think I read he was aiming to be back for part of pre season so he may well be training again now but not being risked just yet. I like him. But can’t take much more of his hamstring injuries once they start up again

we are crying out for someone who can move and drive with the ball up the pitch like ross used to do. granted RLC isn't the only one who can do that (and no I don't want ross back)
