I'd much rather see Barkley get Andre Wisdom'd twice a year til retirement than him sign for us again
I like the cut of your jib, young man

Be able to get a far nicer gaf in Cheshire than he'd be able to get in actual Monaco tbf
We are the Titanic heading towards an iceberg, Walsh, Koeman and Allardyce have jammed the engines on full throttle and snapped off the steering wheel.
Turning this ship around is a huge task.
I know I'm the voice of doom but I don't see how the squad we've got can play the football we want to play without huge changes in personnel.
Front 3 is adequate now - Walcott, Richarlison, Tosun, Niasse, DCL and Lookman are all reasonable options.
Midfield - a 4-3-3 midfield is either a pivot (deep lying passing midfielder) and two all round types - like Croatia, Portugal and Barcelona play or two high energy and one playmaker - like France play with Kante/Matuidi and Pogba. We don't really have any of those types.
Back 4 - if we are playing a high line and pressing we can't play our current centre backs. If we defend deep then we might get away with it.
This is the result of terrible, terrible recruitment of both managers and coaching staff since Moyes left. 6 years on and we are still playing 3 out of 4 of the defenders Moyes left.
I dont see a problem with those players fighting it out for 4th choice wide forward tbh.
Pennington and Robinson going back on loan today. Hopefully means a Digne is incoming.
I am starting to think that longer term Tosun may not be a regular starter. I don't remember his Hull side using a target man, and he bombed out Okaka and Deeney in favour of Grey at Watford. He likes to press from the front and he will want/need players who have the speed and athleticism to do that. As you've said Richarlinson can play either side, but could also play down the middle and think that may be a position he ends up. Likewise Walcott could and we could play the 3 as a front 3.
Tosun I think will keep his place for the next year or so, but will be phased out. I still think he will score a few goals for us, but I could see him being moved on next summer, if he scores 15+ for a decent fee (more than we paid).
You saw as soon as Walcott came in the difference it gave the team. Even when Bolasie first came what a difference that had (pre his injury) and last night Richarlinson was a but above anything else on the pitch. Throw in Lozano and we would be a different proposition.
I'd like to see Lookman kept too by the way, but a lot will depend on the player.
Mad how deluded some people are on here
We have niasse and dcl as back ups and your calling batshuayi toilet hahahahahahaha
I wouldn't, I'd have basthayi every day of the week, he shown at Dortmund he's a good scorer, and he's shown at Chelsea in the cups etc he's a good scorer
to old for you?To be fair to the poster, he is absolutely useless.
He still needed six chances to score one at Dortmund.
He was always going to do well in the Bundesliga. The defences are shocking (like, really, really awful). Don't be fooled.
I think the climate and lifestyle in Monaco, probably edges it over Cheshire tbh.Be able to get a far nicer gaf in Cheshire than he'd be able to get in actual Monaco tbf

Possibly a bit easier to sell Monaco than L4 tbh
but he has a better scoring per game ratio in his career than niasse over more games
niasse literally cant even control a ball, I've seen the ball bounce of his arse when through on goal, I've seen him attempt a overhead kick and fall over instead and the ball bounce off him
I get the cult status he has after he come from the dark and scored a few goals, but reality is he's a shocking player and not anywhere near the level of batshuayi
But Rock Ferry is nice, this time of the year.Even if you don't stay in Monaco, there are nice places nearby
Cannes and Nice immediately spring to mind.Even if you don't stay in Monaco, there are nice places nearby
