Summer 2018 Transfer Window

Such a difficult job for Brands in a relatively short timeframe.

The mess that Martinez, Koeman & Walsh have left could take three or four transfer windows to sort out. That’s two years ......

Our fans wet their pants over one pre-season defeat. This will require patience & lots of it.

It will indeed my man.

However internet Everton fans and patience do not know each other.

While I'm not against bringing back Barkley on loan, realistically I'd prefer to try Vlasic or Besic if we decide to play someone in the hole.

Just hope someone finally understands that Gylfi's position is not in the hole.

I thought we’d already replaced Barkley with Dowell as the academy graduate grown men get hard about while ignoring the fact he isn’t a Premiership footballer.

Anyway, forget the Barkley chat. Even if we wanted him he has been one of their best players in pre season, so they won't be loaning him out.

Barkley is vastly superior to the other three players mentioned here

Be interesting to know how Brands &co are selling prospective recruits on the club this summer ... what angles they are using.

Judging from Richarlison's Twitter header you'd almost think that Blue Bill has been involved in convincing the player of what a special club we are ... or maybe Rich has simply been enthused by our old friend Gerry D.

If Martinez went with the sleeping giant - youthful squad brimming with talent - charismatic coach-storyline, and Koeman/Walsh had their Moshiri money backed "project" of closing the gap to the top six in a few seasons ... But what's the sales pitch this time around? Blood, sweat and tears?

Just tears.

Seen a couple of Twitter rumours linking us to Wesley from Brugge (Wesley Moraes Ferreira da Silva) don’t know anything about him myself and probably nothing in it but apparently we have made contact about availability :coffee:
