As if a #8 and #10 are directly comparable, despite they switched jersey numbers.
Barkley is one of the slowest #10's I've ever seen in terms of decisions making. And it had done him no favours.

And yet his 8 assists (2 years in a row) were more than our entire midfield roster of Sigurdsson, Rooney, Davies, Geuye, Schneiderlin, Vlasic, Klaassen, McCarthy, Bolasie, Sandro and Lookman managed combined last year in a team.

Why do you keep failing to reply to the actual point ? Who in our current team is a better midfielder ? I haven't hailed Barkley as a footballing god, I've simply said he's better than any of our current midfielders and asked you to name ones who are better....
