He seems almost identical to Richarlison , both classy left wingers who can play across the forward line. I think it's unlikely we'll sign both even if we could.

Played half his games, and scored half his goals, from the right last season.

Still unless Theo is off, and I don’t think he is, can’t see this one happening.

A healthy Walcott would do worlds of good for our attack. He is several levels better than Sandro.

You could look at the positives;

A-- Look likely to sign Digne by Tuesday

B-- Favourites for Mina

C-- If we achieve A+B we need a CB+ a CM and we will be fine for 7th.

We do need these players signed of course but the fact that we have Brands + Silva who have witnessed this defensive shambles gives me a lot of hope.

That and the fact that Brands joined the club...they must have been promised funds.

Don’t think we are favorites for Mina anymore, and if we have to spend stupid money to sign him I am okay with that. Would rather buy Lascelles for 30m than Mina for 30m.

Probably Brands making contact with other options like that Hintereggen in Germany. Might be we could get him and another for what we would pay for either Lascelles or Mina. Our center half cupboard needs restocking....

We also need the CM you mention. One wonders how much money there really is to spend.

We need a new CB pair and a new CM pair as the ‘spine’ of the team is just an express route to our goal. Yes Digne fills a need but if we do not fix that core 4 we will continue to be garbage.

A pretty reliable Barca source tweeted a bit ago that United have not made an offer and that we are still favorites. My guess is either Barca are being difficult with a buy back clause or Mina is desperately trying to get someone else to put an offer in
