The left-back we're trying to sign has flown back from America to Spain on Saturday night, had a day in Barcelona while the clubs finalised terms, and headed to Liverpool today. He'll be in the Titanic tonight probably.

We should have it done by this time tomorrow I'd say, Wednesday morning at the latest.

Were you relaxed watching Blackburn put three past us or Rennes cutting us to ribbons four times? Yes it's preseason and I agree we need to get the right players, but we also need a CB and DM before the window closes because our current midfield/backline are not up to standard.

Its obvious what we need but it’s still the same players that finished 8 th last season. I just don’t want to see mediocrity purchased just because we don’t get the players we want. That list of alternatives to Mina is a joke. If we are paying Brands fir that list he is no better than Walsh.
