I’ve got a mate who supports Stoke so I’ve just wound him up by saying “little swap deal there, Williams for N’Diaye” and his response was “hope not, N’Diaye is class”. Not sure what his judgement of player is like tbf, but he said he’s similar to Gueye in that he’s a battling midfielder but he likes getting forward, more of a CM than a defensive mid.

..yep, he seems more of an athlete than Gueye, perhaps more box-to-box.

A short term fix, but a very good short term fix as would allow us to offload Schneiderlin and in January potentially stock up on another CB as it looks unlikely we'll get more than one. Just do it Swaps never happen, but never should not be now.
