I saw Stoke a lot last season, Ndiaye looked good. He’d do well for us.
Echo saying we have no interest in him at present

For me Catcher, Drinkwater is nowt but a journeyman who got very, very lucky in that rather fortunate-that-the-rest-were-bobbin-for-one-season Leicester side that somehow won the Premier League.
For me, he's exactly the type of player we should be avoiding like the plague.
I can't honesty speak about the lad at Stoke other than to say that they stunk the league out last year and he was part of that stink - make of that what you wish
Even though we've not got European competition to offer, we've attracted a player from Barcelona, so Stoke relegation players and Chelsea misfits should in no way be on our agenda... unless the Chelsea misfits are named Hazard, Willian, or Pedro.![]()
Didn’t they play down the Richarlison transfer?Echo saying we have no interest in him at present

Didn’t they play down the Richarlison transfer?
I dont follow.Could you also not say a 38 game season equalizes irregularities of individual results and recency means it’s a better measuring stick?
Thats all fair on Drinkwater, he is a good passer of the ball but always seems quite one paced. What did you think of Gibson when he was at Manchester United? I always had him down as a one paced lad, injury prone with a good passing range. If it's a loan it could be worse, but my concern is we are shifting from what looked a fairly sensible plan. It's one thing to do that if a player too good to turn down becomes available, but Drinkwater may not be that.
The Stoke fans I've seen rave over Ndiaye. He looks very similar to Gana though. For me I'd rather see us go for a left field younger name. Even if it means Gana stays 12 months while the lad gets the pace of the league.
You're asking the wrong guy about Darron Gibson Catcher...
I always thought he was a total waste of a wage and absolutely nowt but a journeyman. He abused and wasted whatever God-given talent he ever had.
I'll give him one credit though... the night he scored to beat City, I was living and working in Khartoum and caught the game on the a very dodgy BBC radio link... it was about 2am when he scored and my yelling woke up the entire apartment block, I was a rather unpopular chap for a couple of days lollollollollol
You're entitled to your view mate, hence why I asked. I see Drinkwater and him as similar types of players. Probably how one views Gibson will be how they view Drinkwater.
There will certainly be a pressure which is that loans appear quite risk free.
That means it's onEcho saying we have no interest in him at present
I think there's actually a chance Drinkwater will stay in London, West Ham are sniffing around taking him on loan if Chelsea are agreeable.
We've had all this crushing nonsense before and it grew rather tiresome and boring, Mod Central Office is suggesting it's dropped.
