You are, of course, entitled to your opinion but I just cannot understand how selling a good, young player and replacing him with an extremely inconsistent and injury prone player 7 years older would be good business.

Totally by the by, I'm interested in your term "wrangle his words". I'm assuming it means to twist his words but I have never come across the verb 'wrangle' being used in this way. Is it an Americanism? I know Yanks apply it for meaning rounding up stray livestock because I heard it once on The High Chaparral when Big John instructed Blue Boy to accompany Manalito and Buck to "wrangle the missing head" (I think Sam the foreman might have been in the wrangling party as well). So, in America is it also used to mean rounding up loose words and reorganising/manipulating them (what we would call 'twisting' words)?

Dunno about that mina now, obviously I don't know all the real going ons behind the scenes with this bloke but it does seem that he is waiting for any club out there to come in with an offer over us, now if we do manage to get him do i really want a player that's gonna realistically come with the attitude that he's been lumbered with us cos no other eventual takers came through, I want someone that wants to be here and is proud to pull on the shirt or how is he gonna improve anything

I'd rather not go with jags and keane personally. If we don't sign a centre half then that's just as negligent as Koeman not bothering to sign a centre forward.

I do agree but it has to be a top player like the fella from Newcastle, if not we may as well stick. No point getting the fella from Stoke or average rubbish like Rojo. The last 4 buys over the last 2 windows all look very good, we just cant go and get the type of player we went for last summer.

Didn’t know about Cheryshev being injury prone tbf. I’d love to keep Lookman but if he doesn’t want to be here (that seems to be the case) then an international who can play in a few positions, for the same sort of price, is good business imo.

Based on his comments on finances, Im not sure he knows what "credit" is . Probably better the less of it he has in that case
