Newcastle were crusing to a 0-0 stalemate in their friendly v Braga this evening. Then something dreadful happened: Lascalles was subbed off. Newcastle went on to lose 4-0 as their defensive unit fell to bits.

If we 'go with' Capt and Snail, we are in for a season of hurt. I know this. you know this and you can be 100% sure Stonesy and Hatch know this. Tubby's exit confirms a CB is incoming (probably two) That will likely be it this window on the 'ins'. Up front I think they'll run with Hank, Prince and Eton Dom.
