Just read that myself. They changed the dates didn’t they. I get it but a bit daft to start it on a World Cup year. Not giving us very long to sort out transfers at all.

It'll be no problem. With everything else well organized and a strong, united management team we should be able to work swiftly to bring in our top targets.

We surely need to take more risks than we have in the past. It’s important to have some established talent as well (Walcott, Coleman, etc.) but I’m fed up with safe choices because they almost always underperform in a new setup.

We badly need some creativity in the last third, and I see the fat dwarf from Stoke coming in to provide us with that at the cut price fee of about 13 million. I predict that he will be a rip-roaring success, and will bring us the creativity that we have been so desperately missing since Barkley left.

Agree mate hence why the Lookman decision was gutting. Of course any good team is a mixture of youth and some experience but we currently have parts of an aging team with some not up to it /past it players amongst the good/promising ones. You want a team with fire in its belly to achieve and progress we haven't seen that since Martinez's first season. Which has coincided with the purchasing of older players, best players from struggling teams or top six rejects who became regulars. We need to look at players with potential and ambition in their prime years or with them ahead ...

How on earth is Dembele allowed to leave spurs?? He has been the foundation and most consitent performer in that squad.... yes including Kane and Son

The rumour is it's his choice because he's being offered mega wages in China. He wants the one big last contract to set him up for life, which I think is fair enough.

Clubs/fans thinking they sniff a Dembele bargain are seriously barking up the wrong tree.
