Can we REALLY afford to send Davies and DCL on loan?

The others we wouldnt miss and hey if given the choice I would send Davies on loan and keep Besic, but if Besic goes, Davies has to stay IMO.

Sure a loan and regular game time would be ideal for both Davies and DCL, but their bodies are required here.

If we punt Pennington, Galloway, Browning, Bolaise and Besic and loaned out Beni and Dowell, that would leave us with 26 players, which IMO is an ideal number.

Anyone heard anything about us being in for Claudio Marchisio on a free?

Before anyone starts I dont normally post on here but I dont claim to be any sort of insider. Just something i ve heard wondered if anyone else has?

The quality of the team would be downgraded if we binned Schneiderlegs in favour for Baningme. I'd be willing to take the gamble on the future potential of Baningme. Would be very very surprised to see it happen though.
 
But regards this Marchiso chap.

He had 2 years on his contract, Juve would have no need to cancel his contract, unless he wanted to move to an English team.

Just sayin.

Schneiderlin and McCarthy are going nowhere. With the possible exception of Sandro I cant see anyone who was named in the first squad leaving.

McCarthy of course only currently has one leg. Who will be buying him?

I cant see any of our other midfielders being a downgrade on schneiderlin.

Baningime would be cover for Gana.

Gomes sigurdsson and davies can all take over schneiderlins place in the team.

Hes training + weve bought injured players as have others...good point though, in hindsight i cant see him leaving england anyway now.

Interesting - he must have something already lined up, but where... vague mentions of New York, but we were linked with him for 12m last month...

He WAS a top player. Did his ACL 2 seasons ago i think and has been a bit part player since.

I think it may be worth it until the end of the season if we are able to sell schneiderlin and besic.

Brings a winning mentality + experience + can guide davies and baningime...
