I agree, but my original point was, we potentially have s lot of money that could be generated from sales and maybe one or two players being sold who are in the team at the moment.

I think it’s about getting as many top class players as possible.
To be honest I don’t think sales will bring in too much money
Even and it’s a big IF Henry and Vlasic were sold along with say Lookman and the rest of the loanees you would be lucky to get 70/75 m and that’s the price of a top quality CF
If e want a squad we need to keep Siggy , Lookman and Henry and Vlasic if they progress
I know this will upset some but I see no place in Silvas squad in 2 years time for Dowell , Williams , Davies and the vast majority of our young players out on loan

For people who watch Serie A. What sort of Striker is Belotti?
I suspect he'd look a bit like Morata has in the Premier League. Good player, but doesn't really possess that one outstanding physical or technical attribute.

There's a young Polish lad who has just come in at Genoa, who is banging them in for fun at the moment. Apparently their owner is always looking to cash in on in-form players, so it could be worth looking at how he gets on between now and January.

If that lad keeps on banging in goals bigger clubs than us will be sniffing around
I think one of Brands remits is to find that type of player before he gets his first big move.
Although we do need a CF as a matter of urgency

He cost 45mil and I think he got about 5 goals and 5 assists last season . As thinks stand he’s nowhere near justifying his price tag.

Like I said he will have to have a great season. I don’t think Brands would think twice about moving him on

Forget last season. It's in the past.

For now, Gylfi is an important part of the team and our leading scorer. He has created more chances this season than any other player in the Premier League apart from David Silva.

Brands should having a good look at Hakim Ziyech.
He's been looking to move on.
Would suit Silva's system.
Priced at 25m.

I'm sure Ziyech will be on a list but he may not be the profile of midfielder we're after, if indeed we are after one.

Let's see how Gomes gets on first.

It'd definitely have to be a case of getting him in January. After that, there'll almost certainly be bigger clubs involved.

If Brands is even halfway competent, Everton shouldn't be a tough sell to a young lad earning a relative pittance at Genoa. He only has to remind him where Stones, Barkley and Lukaku went from here.

Right, but maybe we should be wanting someone who's done it over a more than two month period, yeh?

That's just totally incorrect.

Sarri rates Barkley more than he does RLC.

RLC is a very good young player but Sarri currently sees Barkley as fitting into the mould he wants more than RLC does.
Not really. Barkley will be gone next season when it doesn't work out. Club's do it all the time, justify signing a player by actually playing him. Make themselves show they aren't good enough before they move them on rather than sell without giving them a chance

True about Flanaghan lol

What do you mean about a similar option to Chilwell/Digne on the right?

Sergi Roberto / Semedo / Vidal and i think its Cucarelli (sp?) as the right backs...

What im reading is that posters fancy a bit of Wan-Bissaka. Now we arent going to have 3 right backs are we?

He would be a new signing if those posters got their wish...so takes 1 of 2 places in the squad, who takes the other place...a soon to be 30 year old Coleman on a tasty contract or a 21 year old improving Kenny...

If the posters believe in Wan-Bissaka then they would see him as 1st choice...so why have Coleman on the bench?

Hence, if you are a poster who wants Wan-Bissaka then would you be happy replacing Coleman in the squad with him?

One thing i will say is that Coleman brings professionalism and leadership to the squad, however hes not been at the races for a while and i can see Kenny taking his place...
What I mean is let's not jump at the easy and familiar option when someone else of undoubtedly higher quality my come available. Not necessarily a Barcelona player
