Not taking any chances on full back positions easily one of the most important positions to a manager like Silva.

Things have changed we had Martina last year and now with Baines also fit together with Robinson. don't forget Robinson is now a full USA international, I think between them they could do a good job and use the money on somebody else.

I think people on this forum in dismissing Robinson don't know anything about him, he was on loan at Bolton all last year and hardly missed a game and ended up with great reviews, since then he has played 2 games for the USA and again proved himself, surely he deserves a chance to save us some money.

My Bolton supporting mate said he was alright but drifted off wildly towards the end of the season.

Being left back for USA does not make him good.

We need a new left back. However, there are so many other areas we need to improve that left back may be left for now.
