I’m sure they were assessing things way before becoming official, but it still doesn’t change the fact they’ve not seen the players up close/ first hand.

You can’t judge a players character watching them on tv. Nor can they judge many other aspects.

The thought of someone paying actual currency for Cuco Martina seems absurd.

And I wouldn’t expect much of an influx of cash for Mirallas and Ashley Williams.

There is no way Martial would come here. We are not challenging for anything at the moment and we are starting over again... No way he comes to a team that is starting over when he would have suitors from CL teams
