...here’s the Friday morning Toffee transfer rumours;
- According to German outlet, Bild, Everton’s interest in Hertha Berlin Left Back Marvin Plattenhardt stretches back to January. The 26 year olds agent, Herbert Briem, is quoted as saying; “Good Left backs are in demand throughout Europe but Marvin concentrates first on the World Cup. Everything else will be discussed after the tournament”.
- The Telegraph report Marco Silva wants midfielder, Morgan Schneiderlin, to remain at Goodison this summer but Mo Besic’s future at the club is now very much in doubt. The Northern Echo suggest Mo Besic is open to a move to Middlesborough where he had a successful loan spell last season.
- Portuguese outlet, Jornal de Noticias, have revealed Porto striker, Moussa Marega has €40m release clause in his contract. The 27 year old Mali international is being linked with a move to Everton.
- SkySports say Everton have joined the race to sign German international, Mario Gotze. Arsenal, West Ham, Marseilles and Valencia are also keen on the 26 year old who joined Borussia Dortmund for £22m last summer.
- TeamTalk report Marco Silva as plotting a reunion with speedy Porto winger, Carlos Mane. The 24 year old is a product of his clubs youth academy and worked with Silva during his time at Porto. The 5ft 6in player was loaned to VFB Stuttgart but missed the 17/18 campaign through injury.
- ReadEverton website suggest Everton is one of a host of clubs who have spoken with out-of-contract Sheffield Wednesday midfielder, Sean Clare. It’s reported as many as 14 clubs have held discussions with the 21 year old who becomes a free agent at the end of June.
- The same website say Everton are still hoping they can beat West Ham to the signature of Toulon’s 21 year old Centre Back, Issa Diop. It was reported yesterday that the Hammers have agreed a £25m deal and talks are well underway.
