Everton are looking to offload defender Cuco Martina today.

The ECHO understands that the 28-year-old has potential suitors in the Championship who have registered their interest with the Blues.

Everton had been keen to offload the defender on a permanent basis and were looking for a £2m transfer fee but are now open to sending last summer's signing on loan.

If someone wanna clean up professional sport one day...first thing to do will be banning all agents...

Have said this for a long time! They're the scourge of football as it is today!. If a player needs an agent it should be for his off field commercial activities only. Any football related deals should be dealt with by one organisation - if only the PFA didn't have that very expensive waste of space Gordon Taylor in charge may be they could have got their act together and sorted things out!

Never going to happen now though, far too many self invested interests with too much to lose!
