Perhaps thats whats needed with Deulofeu in front of him?

To be honest, i cant think of any top right backs id want if we did sell Coleman...

There really isn't any outstanding ones that's why mate. And thinking about it thats in its self should drive Coleman's price up that little bit more

See were linked in this or the other thread to Yarouba Cissakho of Monaco, will be 20 in August.

Ive done a few google searches to see if theres any up and coming right backs and strangely cant find a single one! Clyne going for £12.5mil seems a cheap price, wonder why Southampton let him go for that...

Entering into the last year of his contract with Soton.

Your right, TBH there really isnt that many Right backs around who i can think of, who ive seen thats really made me think he could play in our set up or replace coleman. Maybe Van Rijn or van der wiel

The 2 Dutchmen, whose the first choice now? Think i read Van der Wiel was available from PSG not long ago.

Montoya of Barca was linked before but doesnt seem anything special...literally cant think of anyone whose either class or could develop to be top class...

How about Mattia De Sciglio?

I'll be honest Never seen Van der wiel or Van rhjin play.

Matta De Sciglio is good however very much like Coleman in the way he plays

Van Rhijn, also never seen him but Van der Wiel looked potentially world class a few years ago when he first got into the dutch side. However had a couple of well publicized defensive lapses and i havent seen enough of him recently to pass judgement.

De Sciglio ive only seen a limited amount of also but he, Romagnoli and Rugani seem like the next wave of top Italian defenders.

I know Martinez said he wanted an experienced centre back as cover but Romagnoli for me would be a fantastic signing. May need a year to adjust to the premier league fully so perfect to have as a 3rd choice and slowly integrate alongside Stones for the future + when Baines retires he can also play left back or deputise for Garbutt.

Capable of being a starter from day 1 and his value would only increase so when Galloway is ready he could be moved on at a profit if needed.

Right back de sciglio may be interesting but the only issue with him i think has been injuries but may be due to youth and overplaying him?

Not enormously bad but including his major disasters in the past looks a bit more Glen Johnson than Gary Stevens...

Great stat on Van der Wiel: during the 2014-15 Ligue 1 season, he was directly responsible for more goals against PSG than any other player. He scored one own goal and assisted two opposition penalties through handballs.

Would flat out refuse to sell Coleman unless he kicked up a fuss, if he did I would smack a £32 million price tag on his head as their is only Ivanovic who you could argue to be a better RB over the past 2-3 seasons (although the Kopite disciples in the media would argue Clyne who's had 1 decent season) anything less than £30 mil would be a disgrace, 25 years of age and 4 years left on his contract.

If he left Van Der Wiel would be one to look at although he'll probably be on massive wages, Kyle Walker could possibly do a job at the right price (8-10 mil) only 25 and got pace on him.

If I have to pick one RB in PL as replacement, that will be Janmaat.

I refuse to casually discuss Coleman replacements like this. Only after a long and solemn mourning period would I be prepared to move on. Possibly not even then.
