I didn't say it was today. He actually flew in from Derry airport today as he's been home. I don't know when it was, I'm just relaying information I got told today

Not uncommon for a player to be given permission to speak before a bid is made you know. No point them spending 3 weeks arguing over a fee if the player can't agree terms.

The selling club genrally only allow it if they want to sell, puts the pressure on the buyer.
No reason to do it if they don't want to sell, unsettles the player.

Because he knows the player and he isn't my uncle. I couldn't care less if you believe it or not mate. It's a speculation thread. I heard some speculation and I posted it. If you've bothered to read back through my post history you will see I don't post very often so why would I come on here at half 11 on Sunday night to spread a rumour i just made up?

I completely agree, was just stating that it wouldn't necessarily be tapping up.
