I'm guessing that this lad would be a DCL-type signing.

i.e. for the U23s initially and then if he impresses will obviously be in-and-around the first team squad.

Some thinkings:

• A really excellent spread of weaseling this week. Clearly with the good recent weather and fertile ground of Everton not doing the signings, we are seeing many good examples of the species making their first moves of the summer
• Remarkably (having essentially rigged it) @Raino85 has been surpassed as the top Weasel.
• The window is now technically open - well, it might be, I don't actually know - I would expect there to be a good surge this week

VVD would be a massive signing for that lot. the difference CL football can make to transfer targets. Equally the RS direct hotline to Southampton wouldn't have done any harm either. They must get a discount or something as frequent buyers.
