I'll lay a bet with you now that if Williams and Mori are fit and at the club one of them will be in our first 11 on the opening day of the season. We will not be buying 2 first-team centre-backs and VVD is not twice the defender that Mori or Williams are in any case. Don't understand why it's in fashion to hate on Mori tbh either. Actually it's obviously cos Martinez signed him. Jagielka got the same hate just cos of a couple of unlucky penalties last season too. We will sign maybe one big-money centre-back especially as Jagielka is ageing but I don't think Mori or Williams are anywhere near finished at Everton.

And if people at Everton didn't rate Browning they wouldn't have given him a new contract 6 months ago.

It's in fashion to hate on Mori because he's absolutely terrible.

Which is why he's a title-winner among other honours in Argentina, has 19 international appearances, Barcelona have been scouting him and Daniel Passarella wants Mori to be the captain of the national team, I guess!

You don't have to win the ball every time to stop an attack, or slow down an attack, or help get your team off the back foot. Where you getting those stats from ? squawka has 50% duels won. 79% pass accuracy. whoscored.com has 5 clearances a game. Bit harsh imo.

We lost only 4 of the 16 league matches in which Mori played 90 minutes from the start. Can't recall any glaring defensive mistakes either that were punished. Even Gary Cahill only averaged 1.4 tackles per game and Chelsea stormed the league.

I just think it's hypocritical; keeping the outrage for Lukaku's behaviour in mind. Onyekuru has been doing/saying much worse; it's not an age issue. Dimata is the same age; he wanted a transfer didn't behave like that. Tielemans, behaved like a pro. I could go on but it's besides the point.

Btw no reason to not like the Belgian and Dutch competitions. Loads of good players come out of these competitions.

Oh I like watching the leagues I just meant I take the star players with a pinch of salt considering a lot of the opposition is terrible.

Looks like your fighting a loosing battle.

Can't be doing with sentimental Everton fans, Jags a couple of unlucky penalties wow. jags is finished mate should never play again. And Mori is a cart horse.

The stats are from Squawka, the duels won includes offensive actions, he wins 1 in 4 tackles, hes 1 complete yard dog.
