Summer Transfer Window 2017

From what I've seen, Gibson is a little slow, whereas Michael Keane is faster in all respects, faster anticipation, faster passing, more aggressive, and could be the 'new' Gary Cahill. I am a little worried Chelsea will be in for him in that regard. If we had Keane, Williams, Mori, Jagielka, plus the likes of Galloway, Browning as backup, I'd be very happy indeed. Hopefully we sign Keane, sure many agree. The fact that about 3-6 months ago there were reports that Keane was sold on Everton appearing in the press pleases me, hopefully that is true. What are your thoughts?
Lol
So holgate will be 7th choice centre back next season.

but how many games has Holgate played at cb compared to rb? you're right though, I should have mentioned him too! Proves we only need one CB signing for now, this summer and Keane would do nicely.
Holgate way ahead of any other of the young centre backs.
I think 2 of browning, Pennington, Galloway will loaned out or sold.

Like I said to you yesterday, I can definitely see one of jags or Mori going. And if RK buys 2 centre backs, maybe both will go
Leaving Williams and holgate as 3rd 4th choice, and one of the other 3, 5th choice.

echo reporting that we are going in for Michael Keane. finally some action?

Everton are continuing their pursuit of Burnley defender Michael Keane.

And it means the Blues have put plans to move for Mauricio Lemos on hold for the time being.

Everton have been weighing up a move for the Las Palmas centre-half but the ECHO understands that Ronald Koeman has made Keane his No1 defensive target.

Yeah he's our No.1 defensive target apparently. We need to be quick though and get a deal done. By all accounts Liverpool are interested aswell. Also, IF we can't get Keane, we want Lemos. Don't know why we don't go for both anyway me, sign them both!

So Jags and Funes on the way out then? Can't see Williams or Holtgate moving.

I hope we sign Keane. I hope Mori doesn't leave. I hope Galloway is at least on the subs option cos he's quality.

In that case it would be between Keane, Williams, Mori and Jagielka as cb's, Holgate as right-back and desperate c/b cover, Galloway as left-back and desperate c/b cover, and Jagielka around too depending on form, injuries and suspensions. We'd be very strong in that area with just one calculated CB signing like Keane.

I don't want Jagielka to leave and think he will get games if he stays. But if I had to choose between Mori and Jagielka leaving, I would let Jagielka go, especially if he wants a part of the England team next summer, I'd let him go on a free for his service, and hope he gets a role at the club after his playing career is over.

Mori is a £15-25m asset, even if some people think he's rubbish, he's not. He will fight for his place. It could well be Keane - Mori or Williams - Mori that start next season as first-choice, with the others like Holgate/Jagielka as backup.

Pennington if any out of the ones you mentioned should be loaned out. Browning should be training with the first-team I hope, I really rate his physique, pace, and versatility.
