I'm sure the board have done everything financially possible to try and convince him to stay whilst also giving RK some room to bring new faces in.

Any extra 30k sounds nothing but in reality that's over an addition 1mill to a wage budget in the region of 75-80mill which we are probably constrained by?

We have lost about 8 players off the wage bill too.

But we have to pay £30 million to replace him....then signing on fee and that same wage we could not offer Ross.

Plus Roms £80k a week wage will be off thenwage bill.

Im not buying this wage stricture ffp stuff for the Ross contract.
