...what the rumour columns say this Wednesday morning;

- Football.London website says Spurs are likely to miss out out on Michael Keane who looks set to join Everton in a £25m move.

- The Daily Telegraph reports Everton, West Ham and Arsenal interest in United defender Chris Smalling who is available for £15m. The Express says West Ham are leading the race and the asking price is £12m. Skybet have Everton as favourites to sign the player.

- The Daily Express also says Koeman is targeting Davy Klaassen, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Michael Keane now that he has secured Jordan Pickford. The Toffees manager would also like Sandro even if Ross Barkley does a u-turn and stays at the club.

- Sky Sports suggests Sandro is now set for a move to Everton. Pundit, Terry Gibson, told Sky that the player has been sensational for Malaga and will be a top signing for a Premier League club.

- 4th Official reports Everton may make a move for St Etienne defender Florentin Pogba.

- According to Sport Italia's Alfredo Pedulla, Everton could open talks this week to sign AC Milan forward M'Baye Niang.

- The Daily Mirror suggests Everton and Leicester are now in competition to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Mail says Sigurdsson is Koeman's no1 target.

- De Telegraaf reports Everton are days away from announcing the arrival of Ajax midfielder, Davy Klaassen, in a £26.5m deal.

- Football Mercato in France say Man City have slapped a £17.6m price tag on Wilfred Bony who is interesting Everton, West Brom and West Ham. There might also be an enquiry from Turkey.

- The Liverpool Echo report Lyon are likely to beat Everton to the signature of Chelsea striker, Bertrand Traore.

- Bild says Everton and Spurs are in a race to sign Bayer Leverkusen's 23 year old midfielder, Hakan Calhanoglu.

Is Calhanoglu not still banned from footie? I do like him mind. Better than Sigurdsson IMO.

Everton aren't yet in a position to be writing off 25-35m for a player, who doesn't want to be here (strange saying that cos he's an evertonian of course). I think it's imperative he's moved on if he doesn't commit and not just for financial reasons. The crowd already give Ross a hard time (wrongly in my opinion) but can you imagine the crowd if he makes those same mistakes knowing he really doesn't want to be here. Best for all parties if he moves this summer, unless he has a change of heart and commits to a new contract.
I agree.

It's still not financially crippling to not receive money that you haven't budgeted receiving

He seems pretty peed off about it imo, setting his own deadlines and as good as throwing his toys out of the prem dont sound like actions of a man that is not bothered!!!
Think he's annoyed by how long it's taking to get an answer. Don't get the impression that he's particularly bothered what that answer ends up being, just wants to know one way or the other.

No idea about Calhanoglu but Klassen just plays centrally. He's not got the pace to play out wide. I read on evertonrumours (from an editor) that we are interested in signing either Klassen or Siggurdson or both depending on wether Ross goes.

All I know about Calhanoglu is he's amazing at freekicks.
Same here but more importantly he lacks premier league experience. If we get Sandro and klassen (who are both unproven in the premier league) I'd prefer us to get siguardsson, who we know is proven in the premier league and who is equally adept at free kicks as calhanoglu.

Sandro also fantastic at frees.
