I'm a Moshiri fan but this can't really be used as validity of his richness. It's as much to do with the inflation in football as it is to do with Lord Farhad.
TBF it was more to do with obvious signs of progression and maybe, just maybe a huge change in the way we do things, gone are the days where we are waiting to sell Lescott, Arteta and Rodwell before we can start buying. This is about Everton moving forward, under a fella who has taken an incredible amout of stick, for no good reason.

Niang does have tonnes of ability.

He is quick, powerful and does have a goal in him, he's still young and does have the potential to be a top player.

On the other hand he has many attitude issues. He has fallen in with the wrong crowd at Milan, he has been bigged up from a young age and is extremely consistent.

If he is brought in he will be a project for koeman, I do think koeman could get a tune out of him but its hassle, hence the relatively low fee, its a gamble. But not one I'd be terrified of.

He's not a player I want, but I think we will have a few of those come in over the next few years, we just have to see what he does for us.

Also, whether on his day or not Deulofeu hardly tracks back at all and can be bullied physically any time a fullback is up to it.

If you haven't noticed we're targeting people like Bolaise, Arnautovic, apparently Niang although it's paper talk for those outside attacking positions (whatever you want to call them, wingers/wide forwards).

I know we all have our own thoughts as to how we should play and who should be in but Koeman wants people who can finesse it in at times but also bring the battering ram if need be.

Reading the Watford forums they seem to think Niang is lazy and inconsistent. Happy to go with whoever Walsh and Koeman want but a bit suprised at the interest in him.

Not saying it is or isn't but it's possible the Lukaku deal has been agreed in principle and we asked Chelsea to wait until after we've got players in to push it through, so we don't get fleeced on transfer fees.

Lets see, but if Klassen and Pickford fees are to be believed then thats 56 of 80(?) million for lukakau, before anything else that's only going to leave 24 to replace him, that would be a ridiculous stratergy.

Another reason I want him besides being good value for the 18m being reported is the fact we were in for him heavily when he left Caen to go to Milan and then tracked him through seemingly 3 different regimes because we've been continually linked with him.

Edit: As for the laziness, look when he came to them then look at how the entire team of Watford besides Troy Deeney just gave up when they got safe.
