It's funny. When we were loosely linked to Niang before he chose Milan, everyone wanted him despite having never seen him. Now that we're supposed to be signing him at 22, almost no one wants him despite having never seen him. He's still talented friends. Needs a kick up the arse by the looks of it, but I have no doubt Koeman will offer that.

Looks like Niang is Lukaku's replacement?....don't want him on the wings if he joins, want him used up front to see what he can do. Tall, pacey, good first touch. Two-footed. Hopefully Koeman gets him motivated and firing.

Did you notice when Watford were essentially safe his performances dropped?

He went there to do a job, but probably never had any plans to stay longer. But I think generally he was there best player while there. Here we will hopefully be playing for champions league and he will be surrounded by better players, any player will come here raring to go.

Yer da's worst nightmare by the looks of that first video, 6 minutes of him doing fancy flicks and dribbles but not scoring or providing any assists.

And he's still maturing mentally (that part of the brain doesn't reach maturation until roughly 25). The light could still turn on.

He started with a bang but there was a general downward trend from then onwards

Not going to lie, he is a player I am not a fan of at all, as I've posted on here a few times today. Reasonably quick, two-footed, delivers the ball well, but my plus points end there

Other than that I don't see what he offers and there are plenty of negatives about him that I see

It'll be a Walsh special if it comes off, but nailing my colours to the mast firmly here and saying I expect this one to be a flop.

Well if he is I want to see Vardy and Sandro to, spending just 16m on Lukakus replacement just won't cut it for me. Perhaps Lukaku might want to stay now seeing us behave like a proper big team, I doubt he will but could do a lot worse than stay here for the exciting times ahead. The exciting times have already happened at the likes of Chelsea and city.
