No mate, just answered it above.

Btw, 15 months ago in that Barkley thread you were likening Barkley to Michael Ballack. You were very pro-Barkley in fact right up until Koeman first started laying into him in public early this season.

Maybe switching tack and 'gaining a reaction' is your stuff? Me, I'll try and remain consistent.
You're definitely consistent

I look at what goes on at Everton only one way: with the view that without a true game changing buyout we'll see the same old same old.

We have new players in early. That should happen every summer but doesn't. We'll see that cash made up from sales. Now that;s all besides what we can do on the field next season which may be better than we did last season. But it soesn't detract from the point that we are in the same position as a club.

Your right, you do only see things in one way.

But let's be honest mate we wont spend £200m. I think £120m tops.
I dunno mate, that would only leave around 60 to 70m to get a first choice striker, back up striker, a CB (ideally 2), a decent to top wide forward/ winger and full back cover for Baines (ideally a successor) and Coleman. Could argue if Barkley goes that we need a replacement there too, can't just have Klaassen playing a similar role, part of our problem has been lack of options. So based on that, imo, it's not an impossiblity that we could end up spending around 200m depending on outgoings.

Even if we have paid slightly over the odds, which we haven't, it's good to get a couple of fairly high profile signings in early. Other transfer targets will take taken note and will be very intrigued by what's happening.

The 'ton!
