City ask 25 mil for Iheanacho

Thoughts?
Rather that than the 20m Napoli want for that zapata bloke.

Course I've only ever seen one of them play....

Seems Iheanacho would be a perfect understudy to Rom. That's right - add Sandro, Klaassen, Pickford, Keane and Iheanacho then keep Ross, Rom and Geri...(sell, Clevs, Niasse, and McCarthy) that is the depth to do some damage in multiple competitions.

Drunk on Everton today I am!

I know every team is going to strengthen their squads, but we finished 7th with so many 'weaknesses' in the starting 11. Baring this in mind, I think we are one of those few clubs where we had a lot of scope to improve our starting 11. The signings this week have undoubtedly strengthened our first 11 significantly, but as always being Everton this is offset by the fact we could potentially lose rom and Ross.

Indeed. They will all lob cash at their squads, always do.

Just after last summer, its been a very very refreshing few days.

Everton have taken their spending past £60million after concluding a deal for Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez.

After completing the signings of Jordan Pickford, who cost a club record £30m, and Ajax captain Davy Klaassen, who arrived for a fee of £25m, on Thursday – which represented the biggest investment the club had made in a single day – has swiftly followed on.

The Spain Under-21 international, who is with his country in Poland for Euro 2017, underwent a medical last weekend after he arrived on Merseyside with his advisors to discuss personal terms.

It is expected Everton will make a formal announcement to confirm his signing in the next 48 hours but this flurry will not be the end of their activity, with manager Ronald Koeman and Steve Walsh, the Director of Football, working on more deals.

Gylifi Sigurdsson, the Swansea playmaker, could arrive and smash the transfer record that Pickford has only just set, with the Welsh club wanting £35million for the Iceland international, whom Koeman wanted to bring to Goodison Park 12 months ago.

Michael Keane, the Burnley defender, is a prime target to bolster their defence and would cost £25million but a deal is some way from being struck for the England international, who had seemed at one point to be heading back to Manchester United.

Another striker is wanted, meanwhile, with Walsh a fan of M’Baye Niang, who has no intention of returning to Watford.

yes mate! and if Rom goes we get two more top strikers to take his place - like the heads of hydra! Cut one off and two takes its place.

If we get siggason, kean, sandro and another decent striker. Then who the hell am I supposed to buy on the new footy manager in my first season? Because all I can think is just buy back lukaku.

Absolute disgrace from the club. Showing complete disregard for the fm section of the fan base.

Moshiri out!

All teams have those 1 or 2 players that are looking to climb the career ladder.

Difference is this Summer we are in control. We've slapped a price on Rom, if it's not met we aren't selling, and we've done our transfer dealings regardless.

Same goes for Barkley.

Think we are seeing the benefits of a DOF. I know this one (Sandro) took a little time to get over the line, but the speed we are completing these deals is unheard of for Everton. To think I used to watch other clubs sign players and be jealous that there was no messing, they just got transfers signed and sealed. Which player do people think we will target next? My guess it will be Keane, as centre half is very much a priority.
