was bored. Pickford some reason reminded me of Mccarthy in his interview
although finding another 2 pics without his Everton one didn't really go.
i also spelt Their wrong sake

Mate there's a lot wrong with this, the main issue being that Valencia was here on loan....

Lennon is a very harsh shout

Baines was solid defensively last season, just didn't get forward as much as he used to

Robles is still a good keeper just not as the number 1

Besic is pretty popular with the fans and has just been injured for a while

In terms of the rest Niasse and McGeady are as good as gone, Stek has apparently said he wants to leave and McCarthy has been heavily linked with a move away

If Barry was to leave I think it would be a deadline day deal, other than that I'd be happy to keep him another year, can slow a game down when needed

Yep did say "...if they haven't left already" so that covers Valencia, Niasse & McGeady.

Re: Lennon, I thought when RK started he gave him a new lease of life, then as the season progressed, fell out of favour. As mentioned I do feel it is harsh considering what he's going through but with all the new signings we're probably going to make and Lookman to be given more game time next season, he'll fall even further down the pecking order.

Re Baines: Don't really get the whole keep Baines Brigade. Think he's been past it for a while. Long gone are the halcyon partnerships days with Pienaar. Just don't feel confident in him tbh but that's just me.

Robles had a really good run but towards the latter stages cost us too many points, namely against them lot across the park. So Robles is probably a little rash and as you say not a #1

Not really liked Besic so that's just more of a personal one as like you've said, he is a fan favourite. Can't see him displacing our DMs right now & if he does stay will probably be limited to cup appearances.

I stand by Barry leaving

Think we are seeing the benefits of a DOF. I know this one (Sandro) took a little time to get over the line, but the speed we are completing these deals is unheard of for Everton. To think I used to watch other clubs sign players and be jealous that there was no messing, they just got transfers signed and sealed. Which player do people think we will target next? My guess it will be Keane, as centre half is very much a priority.

Think the difference mate is that in the past we would haggle like mad over a player going in with increased bids, now it's just like "how much?" Bosh! there you go, fancy a shandy.

Baines ??

Valencia was on loan your moron and has gone back to WHam and we didn't exercise the option to buy.

Explain getting rid of McCarthy and Besic?

You realise our form may well suffer due to the extra strains of Europa so surely need a squad with depth?

Baines? [Poor language removed] Baines ? Do you go the match? Did you see him play last season?? Unreal.

Clearly said if they haven't gone already so that nullifies your hissy fit about Valencia.

McCarthy wants match time. With the options ahead of him plus how frequently he gets injured, I doubt if things will change next season. He's been linked to other clubs for a while now too. Good player, just don't think he has a future here.

Besic was more personal. Never really liked him but know he's a fan fav so probably rash but again we've got options ahead of him & he'll probably will be used for cup games.

Baines? Unreal? LOOOL. He's 32, not as good defensively. Doesn't command free kicks the way he used to & doesn't push up as much. Been a great servant, but meeh, to me he's reaching his final embers and we definitely need to find a replacement.

I stand by Barry leaving
Cleverley,Valencia, Kone gone already
Niasse
McGeady
Jagielka
Williams
Mori
Browning
Pennington
Barry
Lennon
McCarthy
Besic
Barry
Stekelenburg
The list is endless...

I'd keep Baines though and bring in Ryan Sessegnon or maybe Jose Gaya or someone to oust him.
